Assessment Choices

Throughout your course you will collect evidence whilst working in school which will help you to complete online tasks on the EY college.com website or to write other pieces of evidence.

The framwork takes into account your individual learning style and enables you to submit evidence using your preferred assessment methods..
This maintains a flexible approach to your course and ensures that your needs as a learner come first.

Your tutor will assist you in planning your work and helping you to choose the most effective methods for you.

Most of the units you will study have a requirement for some assessment criteria to be assessed in the work place.

If you prefer this option it will mean you can write about your work in the form of a reflective account.,
The workplace tutor, who for for example can be a qualified teacher, can write about your work in the form of an observation or witness testimony.
Your EY College tutor will also help you to work with your teacher in the recording of evidence.

We will visit you and observe you working in the classroom/early years setting and have a discussion about your job.
This is nothing to worry about as all our Tutor Assessors are really friendly and only come to observe the great work that you do, it’s a really supportive process and included in the course option price.
